It's been a week since Mark died. He'd suffered a brain aneurysm, and he never woke up. Jonathan gives him a much better tribute than I can, mostly because A) Jonny Mess is a better writer and B) Jonny Mess was much closer to Mark. They, along with Craig, sat in a cubicle group that we all called Dude Corner. I don't know what to call it anymore.
Mark was the kind of person who everyone loved. Good heart, good sense of humor, just a good man. I can't imagine anybody having a negative word to say about him. It's not fair, I keep thinking. I know there's no fairness in when you die, really, and none of us will escape death. But if the universe had any sense of justice, Mark would have been given more than his 34 years. I miss him.
