What is Annie-Core, you ask? It's a group for girls named
Annie. Started in Fall 1996 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, its
original members are Annie Tomlin, Annie Sullivan, and Ann Talley. Membership requirements are simple, yet simultaneously difficult. To be an official member of Annie-Core, one must be named Annie (Anne and Ann are obviously acceptable as well). Shortish hair and the admiration of punk rock music are a plus, but are not required. Want to join Annie-Core? Send us mail. If your name is not Annie, but you would like to be a Friend of Annie, don't despair. If you're a nice person, you can be Punjab, Daddy Warbucks, Molly, Sandy, or one of the many other characters. If we hate you, you're Miss Hannigan. Some thugs over at Cathy-Core have been frontin' and trying to bring Annie-Core down. We are here to make them step up to the crew no more. Boom! by the way, the annie stuff on this page is copyrighted by tribune media services. my mom is panicky about me getting sued because we're using annie stuff. but looky, mom, i put a disclaimer. betty didn't rear a dummy. |
